GDPR is a European Union law intended to strengthen and unify data protection rules and rights for the benefit of EU citizens. GDPR applies to EU organizations and to non-EU organizations (of any size) that provide goods and services to the EU or that utilise tracking technologies (like cookies or tracking pixels) to monitor EU users’ behavior.
1. Use of APIs and tools in the app
This app uses Truedepth API for rendering your selﬁe camera in order to show you glasses and loupes ﬁlters, as well as using the camera feed for measuring your interpupillary distance (PD). We do not collect any data obtained through the camera nor the Truedepth API.

What is collected?
The app does not collect any information on its own. The information that is collected is only done so with direct consent of the user by submitting a form with the chosen information.
The information that the user can submit via the forms is the following:
All this information will be stored in the apps’ backend and collated into an email and sent to us over the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP).
Why is it collected?
PD measurements, name, country and e-mail is collected in order to be able to provide a pair of demo loupes for testing in a limited period of time. The demo loupe is provided by the ExamVision dealer in the country selected as residence by the user. The user’s precise PD is necessary to provide a usable demo loupe for the user, since ExamVision loupes are custom-tailored and personalised to each user’s sight and physical dimensions of eyes and face.
If a user has submitted a query via the Contact Form, their name, country of residence and e-mail will be used by ExamVision DK to allow us to respond to the query. In some cases, the query and user’s details may be passed on to the dealer in the selected country of residence. But this will only happen, if it is necessary for the dealer to be involved in the query.
The above-mentioned data will be stored at ExamVision DK in accordance with GDPR regulations. When information has been passed on to the respectively located dealer, they too will store the information in accordance with GDPR regulations.
3. Data breaches
We will report any unlawful data breach of the ExamVision Mobile App database or the database(s) of any of our third-party data processors (i.e. local ExamVision dealers) to any and all relevant persons and authorities within 72 hours of the breach.

We will respond without undue delay (and in any event within one month from receiving your request, although this can be extended in difficult cases).
